Maryellen Grady

Maryellen Grady is a free-lance writer who writes about widely varying subjects of interest to her. 

Before starting her free-lance career, she worked for several years as a writer and assistant editor for a national print magazine.

She received a B.A. in English with a specialty in writing  from Southern Illinois University.  She has two grown children and lives in a Western suburb of Chicago.

She continues to be a life long lover of horses despite that the fact that one of her earliest rides through the beautiful hills of Southern Illinois was on a mare that the owner had neglected to tell her had a foal in the barn.  And when that foal woke up and called for its Momma, what a ride was had.
